of technology Nigeria banks now partner with Unified payments to
introduce Pay Attitude ‘a cheap and
Pin-enabled tag-type contactless solutions, which is already adopted by First
and Uba bank herein to be issued to selected
branches; as we await its introduction by other leading banks in Nigeria.
The Pay Attitude device
links the mobile to the subscriber/customer’s Debit or prepaid account plus ePurse account enabling the
subscriber/customer to debit his/her account(s) for different payment
transaction. It guarantees subscribers the confidence and comfort of success
proximity/contactless payment for goods and services at merchant locations at
all times not withstanding problems or challenges of telecommunication or unavailability
of network of the merchant’s bank/acquirer or the customer/subscriber’s
bank/issuer as such transactions are authorised offline to the value of pay
attitude functionality that the customer/subscriber subscribed to with the bank
or issuer.
With its Chip-based and PIN-enabled functionality, it also
means that a customer’s unique PIN must be entered on the acceptance device
before any transactions are approved, so that helps to guard against fraud or
any unauthorised use of the solution.

- Walk into either of the selected banks and pay attitude. An electronic payment chip which works on with your phone
- Attach the PayAttitude chip to the back of your phone.
- When about to pay for good or services, simply tap your phone on the Pos terminal and your payment is made
