According to sources, so far India's greatest telecom chairman has been relegated range in a total of 10 circles - 7 circles in 2,100MHz band and 3 circles in 1,800MHz band.
In the remaining 13 circles, remote transmissions will be allotted between December 2015 and April 2016.
"The letter of arrangement for reach in 900MHz, 1800MHz and 2100MHz band obtained in March 2015 closeouts has been issued to Airtel," a source in DoT said
The fruitful date for reach assignment in distinctive gatherings range from May to April 2016, the source included.
Meanwhile, a Vodafone assembling firm has sold its 4.2% stake in Airtel to Bharti Enterprises for Rs 1,280 crore, the country's greatest telecom overseer said.
"Vodafone Mauritius Limited, a Vodafone Group Company has sold 12.18 lacs quality shares addressing 26.74% of paid-up offer capital of Bharti Infotel Private Limited (equivalent to 4.2% money related energy for Bharti Airtel Limited) to Bharti Enterprises (Holding) Private Limited at a considered Rs 1,280 crore," Bharti Airtel said in an illustration to BSE.
Vodafone needs to offer its entire stake in Bharti Airtel taking after new guidelines issued by the organization that bans a telecom manager from holding any kind of stake in contention under bound together licenses.
Vodafone had picked up stake in Bharti Airtel under past approving organization, Unified Access Service License (UASL), or 2G licenses, under which telecom associations were permitted to hold up to 9.9% stake in diverse firms.
A few days former, the UK-based Vodafone had also insisted that it has left from Bharti Airtel by offering its 4.2% stake in the Indian telecom major for $200 million.
